Our Rainbow Journey

This past week, on Thursday, the 22nd of August was National Rainbow Baby Day. For those who don’t know what a rainbow baby is, it is a child born after a miscarriage and/or miscarriages. It is a bittersweet day for those who have lost a baby, as we remember the child we lost, while being thankful for the one that came after the loss.

What We Were Hoping For But Didn’t Expect

So by my featured image, you could come to the conclusion that we are expecting again, and that conclusion would be right. I found out by taking a home pregnancy test about a month ago. (April 16th, so almost a month ago to date.)

The Heartbreak Of Losing Someone You’ve Never Met: My Story

Okay, so this one is gonna be hard to do.. Sure I’ve had heartbreaks before. I had 2 official boyfriends and some unofficial ones before my now husband and they all ended in a heartbreak, mine. Out of the official ones, one was 3 months and the other one was just a month, but still. I emotionally invested myself into those relationships.

How can you emotionally invest yourself in a person whom you’ve never met before you might ask? That question yields many answers, but they aren’t very easy to type out.
